???10年の活動にわたり、ア・トライブ・コールド・クエストはラップの大ヒットメーカーではなかったが、代表曲が並んだこのCDにはスタイルと折衷主義、くつろいでいながら周到な流れがある。1998年の解散から、このグループは偉大さを増したようだ。彼らの音楽と理想は、今も多くのヒップホップ・ファンにとって重要であり、それは『アンソロジー』の18曲に（アルバム『Violator』から、Qティップスの最近のヒット「Vivrant Thing」をボーナストラックとしてプラス）、ますます強化されることだろう。トライブの作品になじみのない人は、遊び心に満ちた「Check the Rhime」「I Left My Wallet in El Segundo」から、「Description of a Fool」「Sucka Nigga」の辛らつなコメンタリーまで、いろいろな彼らのムードに頭と体をまかせてほしい。そしてこのアルバムに入ったことによって、レアになり忘れられていた「If the Papes Come」が、アンダーグラウンドの名曲としての地位を再び確立することは間違いない。（Rickey Wright, Amazon.com）

多分これこそTribe Called Quest が一番最初からつくりたかったアルバムだったのではないだろうか。内容満載のPeople's Instinctive TravelsやThe Low End Theoryからの曲もは言っていてさらに内容満載だ。ただし、というか、多分そのせいで、つまんないアルバムになってしまったといえるかもしれない。あまりにもどの曲もすごくいいので、目立つものがない。アルバムLow End Theoryの中でScenarioが光っていたり、もう一つのアルバムPeople's Instinctive Travelsの中でCan I Kick Itが目立っていたようにはいかないのだ。有名なStir It Upもあり、Oh My Godでジャズ・ドラムはけりまくり、すごいベースのドリブルあり、Q-Tipの周到なmic-touch (Electric Relaxation)あり。その上Native Tongues とDe La Soul との休戦/共演も(Awards Tour)もあり。ちょいとジャズ・ヒップ・ホップ・スタイルの、継ぎ目無しのお勉強CDみたいな品揃えなのだが、どの曲もみんなよくて、除くものがない。内容満載のアルバムでしかもクオリティが高いのだ。
